Dodge Moving & Storage had a lot to celebrate in 2025, honoring milestone years of service and the retirements of several remarkable team members whose careers helped shape the company’s culture and success.

Honoring the Retirements of Denny Drey and Joe Beach

In 2025, Dodge celebrated the retirement of Denny Drey, recognizing his 18 years of dedication, hard work, and friendship on and off the road. Denny’s favorite memories, from being checked on all night by a coworker during a winter breakdown to the “brotherhood” he found with teammates like T.O., Tony, T-Rex, and Mike Reed, highlighted the deep family culture he experienced at Dodge.

As he stepped into retirement, Denny shared simple advice he lived by: show up on time, work hard, enjoy what you do, and work well with others, along with a guiding principle to treat people how you want to be treated and be kind to everyone. Looking ahead, he’s focused on slowing down, getting well, watching more sports, and finally having time to enjoy life on his own terms.

Dodge also celebrated the retirement of Joe Beach after an incredible 31-year career with the company, capping more than four and a half decades in the moving industry overall. Joe’s journey started in 1979 as a co-driver for his uncle and evolved from Owner Operator to Warehouse Manager, Local Operations Manager, and finally contractor, a role he loved because it let him work alongside his grandsons and pass down his knowledge.

Through industry changes—from payphones and paper directions to GPS and smartphones—Joe remained focused on doing things the right way, never cutting corners, and building strong relationships with customers and coworkers alike. As he moves into retirement, he’s excited to spend more time working on classic cars and cherishing the relationships he’s built, especially with John Clerc and the Dodge family.

Exciting Milestone Anniversaries

In 2025, Mary Pillitteri reached an impressive 35-year milestone with Dodge, a career that has spanned massive change in both technology and the moving industry itself. She started in an era of clipboards, carbon paper, and drive-up pay phones and grew into a trusted consultant guiding customers through every detail of their move, from packing services to timing around closings.

Mary credits her foundation to being hired and mentored by Marty Clerc, who taught her to build trust, act with integrity, and put customers first, values she still carries into every interaction. What she’s most proud of is the lasting trust she’s earned—customers calling back year after year and referring their families—because handling something as personal as a move is never something she takes lightly.

For Mary, Dodge truly is family; she believes in the company, its values, and its commitment to doing things the right way, and she encourages others to follow through on promises, listen carefully, and fully engage with customers. Even after three and a half decades, what excites her most is still the people—customers, coworkers, and the unique stories behind every single move.

The year also marked 30 years with Dodge for Mike Ligibel, a milestone that reflects not just longevity but steady leadership and dedication to the people around him. Mike is especially proud to have worked under three generations of Clerc family ownership—Marty, John, and Alex—an experience he sees as rare and meaningful, and one that speaks to the strength and continuity of Dodge’s values.

He encourages new team members to always go the extra mile, believing that consistent effort pays off over time, and says he’d tell his younger self to slow down and not let stress take over. What continues to energize him after three decades is mentoring employees, helping them become the best at what they do, and being challenged and supported by leaders like Tom Linhares, whom he considers a mentor.

Alex Clerc, Dodge’s Executive Vice President, celebrated 10 years with the company in 2025, a decade marked by growth, change, and a focus on building a strong, forward-looking team. Alex says his greatest pride isn’t a single achievement but the team that has come together at Dodge—talented people who push boundaries and elevate standards year after year.

Looking ahead, he’s excited about the opportunities in a rapidly evolving moving and storage industry, from innovation and expansion to continuing to invest in the people who make Dodge successful. Reaching the 10-year mark is meaningful to him both personally and professionally, as he carries the responsibility of honoring the family legacy while helping shape the company’s next chapter.

Together, the 2025 celebrations of Denny, Joe, Mary, Mike, and Alex tell a powerful story of loyalty, leadership, and the family-centered culture that defines Dodge Moving & Storage.
