International Moving
Dodge Moving & Storage Co. specializes in the international moving of household goods and personal effects via air or surface from one country to another country.
Keep in mind just because a company is in the moving business does not make them qualified as an international mover. Here at Dodge we hire and train full-time international movers who understand international packing and loading techniques. You’ll be assigned an International Relocation Coordinator (IRC), who will be your single point of contact for questions and concerns.
Origin Services: We will start with a FREE in-home survey by one of our moving consultants to determine the weight/volume of goods to be moved and the services required. The typical international move will take 2-3 days for proper packing, wrapping and loading.
In-transit Services: Once carefully prepared and loaded, your goods will be transported to their port of departure (air or sea). Transit times vary. You can track your shipment by going to www.unigroupworldwide.com, click on the words "shipment tracking".
Customs Clearance and Delivery Notification: Once your shipment has arrived, we clear it through customs for you. When cleared, your IRC will confirm a delivery date and time with you.
Destination Services: Upon arrival at your residence, your unloading crew will:
- Unload your possessions
- Unwrap, assemble and place the furniture
- Unpack the boxes (if requested)
- Remove the debris
